Sunday Sermon!

Hello my loyal disciples! For sixty days I have been working hard to achieve my goal of having a 6 pack. There have been times when my mind has been full of doubt and times when I have wanted to quit. I have somehow found a way to keep pushing forward. Every dream/goal worth pursuing takes a certain amount of sacrifice. I have had to say no to a lot of people these past 59 days. Saying no to people was challenging at first, but it has gotten easier as time has passed. However, the hardest part of the 75 hard has been saying no to myself. I love food! I especially enjoy anything sweet and a nice cold beer. All of those simple pleasures are old until the weekend of March 26th when I head to the sun-kissed land of Arizona for a quick vacation.
I have deemed this vacation as my Allstar break. A short period of time to cut loose and to reconnect with my childhood friends. I am looking forward to relaxing. Honestly, I cannot wait to have a break from two mandatory workouts!
These past 59 days, I have cultivated a habit of winning. I think that is the point of the 75 hard. There are a lot of correlations that occur while on the 75 hard such as losing weight, an improved body composition, and better digestion. But the overarching theme is that you win every single day. The first time I completed the 75 hard, I felt like I could accomplish anything. The reason that you are reading these words or listening to my podcast is I still have complete faith in myself. Despite this community's name, I am not a religious man. However, faith is a very powerful force. This Church of the Chubby and my podcast are my biggest scientific experiments. I truly believe that one day they will help millions of people become better humans.
Before that dream becomes a reality, I have millions more words to scribe, hundreds more challenges to complete, thousands more podcasts to record, and 2 more mistakes to make :). Faith, patience, and an iron will are going to carry me across the finish line. I have faith that anyone reading this will uncover these same virtues that in many cases have been lying dormant. Strap in ladies and gentleman, for tomorrow is Monday! Tomorrow is a new opportunity to get a little bit better than we are today. Thank you for reading! The battle against the chub rages on tomorrow! May the Church of the Chubby reign supreme!
