Day 47 of the 75 Hard

Hello my loyal disciples! In the words of Mike Tyson, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” These past few days I have been hit hard. Things have not been going my way. You don’t appreciate the simple things in life until they are gone. I have taken for granted how dependent I am on our power system. My house lost power, and I fled. Other people have been without power for 3 days and nowhere to go. I am fortunate to have such a wide and diverse friend group that supports my current refugee lifestyle. I have been lacking motivation to workout, because of my current situation. It has been uncomfortable for me to workout in my friend’s garage, and to lift at planet fitness (I loathe that gym, but that is for another day). That said, I would rather be uncomfortable than obese and depressed. The only choice I have is to press on. The battle against the chub rages on tomorrow!

Outdoor workout:

60 minute walk (the ice is almost gone!!). Running will commence soon

Indoor workout:

Yoga

Still no food scale :(

Breakfast: 6 eggs

Snack: sliced mango and 8oz of plain full fat Greek yogurt, and half and avocado

Lunch: Baked chicken breast with cauliflower rice, green peas, red pepper, and green onion

Dinner: Baked chicken breast with cauliflower rice, green peas, red pepper, and green onion

Smoothie: 2 cups of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, half an avocado, teaspoon of honey, 1 cup of oat milk, and 1 cup of water

Since I ate everything I bought I have some pretty accurate estimates of the amount of food I consumed today. 16 oz. of cauliflower, 12 oz. of mango, 32 oz. of Greek yogurt. No idea on the amount of chicken.
