Sunday Sermon!

Hello my loyal disciples! This week has been filled with a lot of uncertainty. My routine has been interrupted more than any other point of the 75 hard challenge. An ice storm hit the Pacific Northwest this weekend and has caused a lot of property damage in the form of snapped trees and downed power lines.
I am writing this sermon at my best friend's home. The routine disruptions so far are: the gym being closed, and forgetting to bring my scale to weigh my food. On that note, I was faced with a bit of a dilemma during dinner at Julian and Desiree’s house. I was able to grab two beets, two pieces of Elk Back-strap, and the rest of the Brussels sprouts I cooked yesterday. When I arrived at my friend's house I ate all my food, however I was still hungry 45 minutes later. I was offered some beef stroganoff and decided to take them up on their offer, because I was still incredibly hungry. This meal was not compliant with my diet due to having pasta in it. However, beggars can’t be choosers. I will press on tomorrow with no shame.
I am tired and I don't feel like doing my second workout, or my required reading. All I want to do is chill with my friends and relax, because the weekend has not been going my way. This line of thinking is what the old me would have done. I would have just given up and relaxed the rest of the night. In the words of Jocko Willink, “good”, I am glad I feel this way. I am happy that I am unmotivated. This is practice for when life really gets hard. What I am dealing with right now is a minor inconvenience. I am extremely fortunate to have kind people in my life who will take me in, feed me, and allow me to succeed in my goal of writing to you all each day. The time is 8:26 PST and I still have a lot of work to do, but I am going to get it all done!
I hope you all will forgive this sermon for being shorter than usual, but I still have quite a bit of chub to battle and the hour is late. The battle against the chub rages on tonight! May the Church of the Chubby reign supreme! Thanks for reading. I will talk to you all tomorrow.
